Print

If you’re unsure as to what type of printing requirements you have, why not let us help with our quick guide?

Digital

Digital printing is ideal for when smaller quantities are required or when you need something in a rush. Although digital is quicker than litho printing, it is still a sophisticated process.

Digital printing is the perfect option if you are looking for short print runs and low volume, although you won’t get the same high standard of quality finish that litho offers.

Digital is ideal for promotional items (especially if you require larger products such as Rollers Banners, Signage and pop-up display stands) and smaller quantities (around 100) of Business Cards, Letterheads, Leaflets and Brochures etc.

Litho

Litho printing is a much lengthier process than digital printing. Litho printing works by first having the required print image burned onto a plate, this image is then transferred (sometimes referred to as ‘offset printing’) from the plate to a rubber blanket before finally being moved to the printing surface.

Litho is the perfect option for larger products as it is a very cost-effective method for companies requiring commercial quantities with superb quality. Ideal for large volumes of printing such as magazines, books, brochures, catalogues and leaflets in different styles, sizes and finishes.

If you decide that litho printing is the way to go, it is worth noting that you’ll take a hit on speed and cost.
